Punjab Chief Minister announced plans to distribute 100,000 electric bikes (e-bikes) and 50,000 scholarships across the province. In addition to announcing the scholarship, she presented scholarships to students who deserved them. At the ceremony for the Honhar Scholarship Program at Fast University Islamabad, Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz interacted closely with students. Merit-based scholarships will be awarded, and she reassured students that hard work will be rewarded.

Students in Punjab will receive 100,000 e-bikes through the Punjab government. In order to assure safe and efficient commutes for female students to educational institutions, this initiative is designed to address transportation challenges.

1. Subsidies worth PKR 2.6 billion have been provided by the Punjab government.
2. There must be a minimum age of 18 years old to participate.
3. The applicant must be a student at an undergraduate institution recognized by HEC.
4. Applicants must hold a current motorcycle license or learner’s permit.
