Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz launched Asaan Karobar Loan Scheme aimed at boosting the number of small and medium enterprises in the province. Punjab's priority sectors are targeted in this scheme to support entrepreneurship, job creation, and exports.
In addition to offering financial assistance to startups, the Asaan Karobar Loan Scheme aims to expand and modernize existing businesses.
Asaan Karobar Loan Scheme in 2025 Repayment Details
Loan repayments will be made monthly in equal installments by the terms of approval. Paying late will result in a penalty fee of PKR 1 per 1,000 rupees per day if the payment is overdue.
Maryam Nawaz Sharif had launched Asaan Karobar Finance Scheme a few days earlier to stimulate economic growth. Furthermore, she introduced the Asaan Karobar Finance Card, which offers interest-free loans up to 30 million rupees.

Key Features of the Asaan Karobar Finance Scheme
- Interest-Free Loans: The province is offering interest-free loans up to PKR 30 million, a first in its history
- Simplified Process: There are no NOCs, licenses, or approvals necessary to obtain the loan NOCs, licenses, or approvals are not required to secure loans
- Land at Subsidized Rates: Affordably priced land will be available for the development of small businesses
- Incentives for exporting: Export processing zones are built with free solar systems and other benefits valued at PKR 5 million
Lending will be handled by Bank of Punjab, which ensures quick access for aspiring entrepreneurs.
Cm Punjab Asaan Karobar Finance Scheme - Eligibility Criteria
- Business with an annual sales volume of between PKR 150 million and PKR 500 million
- The medium-sized enterprise has an annual sales volume of at least PKR 150 million - PKR 800 million
- Between the ages of 25 and 55
- Tax filers with clean credit histories who are active in FBR
- Punjab is the location of both my residence and business
- The CNIC and NTN must be valid
- Applicants must own or rent the location of the existing business
