Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N)-led federal government has decided to resume the landmark laptop awarding scheme for bright students under the Youth Development Initiatives, Academia reported. PM Shehbaz Sharif announced the Laptop Scheme 2024 online apply in Pakistan.

The HEC has allocated a budget of 10 billion rupees for the scheme to provide laptops to students of bachelor, master, doctoral, and undergraduate degrees as well as Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) and Virtual University (VU).
